Hello and thanks for looking in on my post.

My laptop has recently really slowed down; it takes much longer for a website to load up than it used to, and it also recently crashed for no apparent reason. Any help would be awesome. Here is the TSG SysInfo info:

Remove SaveClicker

Hi. I've been trying to remove SaveClicker as many ways as possible.

I used MalwareBytes, HitmanPro, Rogue Killer, Microsoft Security Essentials and Ad Aware.

But still, each time I reboot my computer, I see that SaveClicker is in my Google Chrome extensions.

I did run a scan with OTL.exe. But I don't know which way to go now. I also got two problematic drivers:

[Filter(Kernel.Filter)] \Driver\atapi @ Unknown : \Driver\SahdIa32 @ Unknown (\SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\SaibIa32.sys)
[Filter(Kernel.Filter)] \Driver\atapi @ \Device\Ide\IdePort3 : \Driver\AFS @ \Device\OAKAFSFilter3 (\SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\AFS.sys)

I tried to understand how to fix them, but I don't know how kernel filters work. It's a bit complicated.

I wanted to use AdwCleaner, but the download link is somehow infected with another virus or trojan.

I uninstalled the program SaveClicker, I erased SaveClicker from my registry. But maybe there is one detail I missed.

So I need your help guys.

I can send my Rogue Killer and OTL reports in private messages. Thanks.

Help removing conficker worm?

0
0
I have recently been infected by what seems to be a conficker worm. I am always very careful about downloading software, but to my surprise, I was infected. I now realize how. I usually disable my anti viruses when gaming, so this is more than likely when I got the virus. the symptoms are applications such as Stream and Origin not being connected to the internet, (my internet works fine). Not being able to visit any anti virus websites, but being able to visit others, and not being able to visit any tech related sites. I have tried several anti viruses, each showing that there is no virus. I even tried this in safe mode, but no avail. I need help soon, especially with school coming in a couple weeks.

CoupScanner

Help please,
I clicked onto something and got myself in a bind. I have 2 what I think are malwares and can't seem to shake them. CoupScanner was a program which I deleted using the install/delete program on the CP but it is still hanging on. The other, jlp.divpre.net, doesn't seem to be installed anywhere I can find. Gut feel says they are related as they showed up at the same time around the end of July.
I have nothing special running that I know of. Let me know what else I need to tell you.

This is a friends computer on which I have remote control using Teamviewer 8. I ran malwarebytes which came up with a Trojan called "Malware.Packer.FFS" I quarantined it and then did a basic Google search for the malware. From first look, it appears to be a possibly nasty guy, but so far I've not found a straightforward way to positively get rid of it. I ran AdwCleaner before running malwarebytes (free version) which detected the malware. The AdwCleaner log file mentioned nothing about the Trojan by name.

The computer seems to be running OK, but I'm just trying to cover all the bases here. Any advice would be much appreciated.

EDIT: Typo in title of thread. Should be .FFS

Virus: Software Restriction Policy

Hi, all my antiviral/malware programs have been stopped by a "software restriction policy" and my malwarebytes would scan but after the computer restart, the "restriction policy" warning would pop up instead of the log. Also when I am browsing firefox, after about 5 seconds, firefox would not be selected anymore, (the top tab turns pale). So I would appreciate any help!

Computer uploading very large amounts of data- suspected infection

0

Hi there,

About two days ago I noticed my internet speed was becoming intermittent and much slower. I originally thought this was an ISP problem as I've had issues there previously, but everything is stable their end and my phone does not experience the same issues.

I looked at the data packets sent and received and in the past 45 mins my laptop has uploaded over 350MB of data whilst receiving only 60MB. I have not tried to upload anything at all (and never do).

The uploading is choking my internet speed to the extent that downloading things has become an issue.

I have run virus scans using AVG (Free) and McAffee (Subscription that came with my laptop). I also have ZoneAlarm (Free) installed on my laptop.

Below are the results of the SysInfo:

Thank you so much for the reply, I am at work but will perform these steps on lunch and hopefully finish in time to post the results by just after noon, eastern. Question though, as it stands, I re-installed chrome and tried running ADWcleaner but was unable. Should I leave chrome installed and basically keep everything as it is right now? or should I uninstall chrome and then perform these steps?

Very slow laptop, then have 3 decrpytion fies show up.

Before trying ESET again let me see the original log, as it is excessive you will need to attach it....

Log will be here:

"C:\Program Files\ESET\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt" (on 64-bit systems this directory will be "C:\Program Files (x86)\ESET\Esetonlinescanner\log.txt")

Annual survey, lotto, etc pop up tabs

Hello. I found this forum by googling my problem. I am running Chome on Windows 7 at work and Windows 8 at home. I have AVG at home and some corporate anti-virus at work. My problem is effecting both home and work laptop. I did not download anything (knowingly, at least) and have not added any extensions. Here is my problem:

Often when clicking a link, I will get a pop-up tab to take a survey or for something to do with a lotto.

I have run:

Adware Cleaner
Malwarebytes
Junk Removal Tool
Yet Another Cleaner
Hitman Pro
SuperAntiSpyware

And after each run, the problem starts again fairly quickly.

This problem started Tuesday evening (8/5/14) or Wednesday evening (8/6/14)

Please help. Thanks

My Toshiba Laptop Suddenly Slowed Down

Hi,
My laptop suddenly slowed down noticeably. Before trying some random fixes, I thought I would ask an expert what to do. I have moved my pictures to a flashdrive and I don't care about saving anything else on the computer.

Also, I have an unopened Windows 7 disk that I got in 2010 and never used. Can I replace the Windows Vista that I am presently using at the same time? Thanks in advance for your help. Below is the TGS SysInfo:

Everytime I try to install an AV software on this HP Mini Notebook, the "Security Tool" pops up, tells me I have a virus, maleware, etc., and stops the program from running, tells me to purchase (activate) the security tool software and wont let me proceed. It also stops me from using IE to get to a website to download an AV program with the same issue. It will not let me uninstall the Security Tool using control panel, Add/Remove programs, or even delete the files. How do I stop the security tool and install Mcafee AV program.
