No problem with the delay and glad to hear all is well.

Please follow this as your Restore Points may contain a copy of the infection:

  • Go to > Control Panel > System > System Protection (in left pane)
  • Under the System Protection tab make sure your main drive has system protection turned on, if it says Off next to it, click on the drive and then click on Configure. Then at the top of the next window click on the button next to Restore system settings and previous versions of files, then click on Apply and OK.
  • Back at the System Properties window, click on the radio button marked Create In the next window give the R.P. a name, then click Create. The new point will be stamped with the current date and time. Keep a log of this so you can find it easily should you need to use System Restore. Close all the windows.

  • Then use Disk Cleanup to remove all but the most recently created Restore Point.
  • Go to and type: Cleanmgr in the search box and hit Enter.
  • Make sure the main drive is selected, then click Ok. Disk Cleanup will scan your files for several minutes, then open.
  • Click on Clean up system files click OK in the next box and it will remove the files then the Disk Cleanup window will open again.
  • Click the More Options tab, then click the Clean up button under System Restore and Shadow Copies.
  • Click Ok. You will be prompted with Are you sure you want to delete all but the most recent restore point?
  • Click Delete, you will be asked to confirm again, click Delete Files.
  • Disk Cleanup will remove the files and close automatically.

You should remove all the tools used just by right clicking on the icon and selecting Delete. I would recommend you keep Adwcleaner to run regular scans for Adware.
