There certainly won't be any changes in behavior yet. We are just gathering information.
It appears excessive use of IE is being caused by lots of Cloud requests for services and updates.
The machine can likely be fixed, but it may involve removing some corporate software.
We don't normally work on Company machines for that reason. See here:

You have not given me the info I requested about who owns the machine, etc.
I notice some of your usage is caused by failed requests to a remote server while invoking SSL 3 encryption.
Since the issue below has surfaced, some sites may have disabled SSL3
You may want to read this.
