I have used dban to clean my hard drive over and over, but someone still has full remote access to my computer.
In the past this individual used phishing attacks and maybe that is how they got remote access to my computer.
I've been told that you can only get malware, etc on the hard drive, and that RAT can not make its way into the bios (though other types of viruses can).
Where else could this RAT be besides the hard drive? It seems as though they have a 'beeping home' system that alerts them when i get on the computer. Could there be something like this in my browser?
thx
